Check out this great video about Tommy The Math Genius Part 1. You can catch his story and tells about learning on twitter, instagram, and Facebook.
I received my bachelor's degree in mathematics from the United States Naval Academy in June 1976. After serving 20 years in the United States Marine Corps I choose to become a teacher by earning a MA Secondary Education and later earned a Doctor of Education specializing in curriculum and instruction followed by earning my second MA in Administration and Services Credential. I have been working as an educational consultant for the five years. Parents and students need a math problem solver. My mission is to show people that math is fun. I have been a teacher in both traditional and alternative classrooms teaching all high school diploma courses. I am a teacher of self-directed learning with a focus on learning mathematics at any level of education.

I am available on an hourly basis to give families advice about finding the right college, writing applications, standardized testing, and more.
I offer a complete service that includes evaluating the student's academic record, establishing reachable goals, advising the student throughout the application process, and advocating for the student.
